Blessings to you my friends and family! I cannot believe how fast the month of April flew by! It was an incredible month for me! I had the privilege to get certified as a church planter trainer during the first week of April. It was such a blessing to learn the 12 biblical principles of church planting empowered for the mission that I have been called too.
I am also looking forward to spending 10 days in Barranquilla, Columbia in July. I will be traveling with another missionary on my team at DCPI headquarters, Chris Centeio and his wife Colleen. We will be teaming up with one of our master trainers, Buddy walker ,who serves for an organization called Missions Without Boarders (MWOB), and coming alongside him to look at the future involvement of DCPI trainings and short term missions around the world. I look forward to see what the Lord will do on this trip and all the lives that will be changed for Christ and His Glory.
Another special moment for me this past month was having my whole immediate family together for the first time in three years. All three siblings, myself, and my parents got to spend a weekend together here in san Diego. It was great sharing memories with all of us together again. Praise God for reunions!
I am also pleased and encouraged to have seen my dear sister in Christ, Krissi Womble head off to India for two years at the end of last month for Missionary work. As I was celebrating with her, I was encouraged in my own process of missionary support raising. I celebrated because the Lord called her and paved the way in His time. I know I am also waiting and trusting in Him who is more than able!
Prayer and support Needs
• Pray for my family to surrender every part of their life to Jesus Christ.
• Pray for the Holy Spirit to prepare me for Columbia and all the details leading up to the trip and for divine appointments to be used by Him there.
• Continue to pray for the Lord to open the doors for new supporters to join my team, and His Holy spirit to work in hearts to respond to His call.
• That I will resist temptation and practice obedience in my daily life as I grow and learn to serve and trust the Lord with all my heart.
• Pray specifically for nine new supporters to join my team at 50.00 a month.
